At Tusk CrossFit, we pride ourselves in a strong, united community and excellent, supportive coaching. When you walk through the door, you can expect a warm welcome from our coaching staff and our members.

Each class will consist of a detailed explanation of the WOD (workout of the day) and a discussion of the goals of the workout - whether it be time, load, or intensity. The class will then run through a full-body warm-up, followed by an instructional technique portion of the class. This is to ensure that all the members understand and are comfortable with the movements in the workout for that particular day.

Before starting the workout, the coach will go over all scaling options for the WOD - from modifying the most complex of movements (such as a ring muscle) to modifying a fundamental movement (such as a squat). No matter what your level of fitness is, every movement we do has a progression. During the workout, the coach will not only be there to motivate you but also be there to ensure you are moving as safely and efficiently as possible. 

Once the workout has been completed and the high fives have been given, this is time for you to catch your breath, grab some water, and ask the coach any questions you may have.
